Lisa-<br />I tried your recipe this weekend. Fantastico!<br />Since cocktail time was fast approaching, I experimented. I only had 1. 5 hours to make and serve the drink so I tossed three tablespoons of pepper into the syrup while it was cooking in the hopes of getting some pepper flavor into the drink. It worked.
